THE CHALLENGE
For the traditional ‘bar and bistro’, The queens arms has a rich history and had been a successful establishment for many decades. But while family friendly pubs and with restaurant quality meals (and function rooms) were trending steadily, the Queens Arms brand was not growing guest count - especially among a younger audience who saw it as ‘A pub for older patrons’ and not for young families or events. With New owners, Exciting menu’s, Refurbished bistro and a Functions room, it was apparent that the Queens Arms was now much more than ‘just a pub’.
THE SOLUTION
Starting with a review of the existing brand, we built the new identity around the ethos of; The kind of place youngsters along with oldies can now enjoy, with a friendly atmosphere a proper pub should have. We then used strong and simple visual design language and colour palette in the branding, that all pointed back to the rich traditional history, friendly atmosphere and modernised direction.

"We love that our new logo captures the essence of our new direction and venue while still preserving elements of our rich history in the Bendigo area."
The
Website
Being able to easily find the queens arms menu, function room and location on all devices is the key behind the brand’s new online presence. The Queens Arms CMS (content management system) was specifically designed so their online menus can be updated by management anytime and anywhere. With ever-changing deals and menu additions this particular feature has saved the QA countless hours and development fees while digital users can be sure that the menu they are browsing is always up to date.
"In the past our menu had to be updated by our developer which would be costly and also a slow process. We love being able to update our new online menu quickly with ease."
